Dopamine 多巴胺

A telling of trying and failing to be an adult, enchanted with messiness, fear, twists, pain, independence, desire, bondage, attempts and love, which, all happening under the belief of putting her own shit together and constantly at the tipping point before drunk.

Dopamine devised solo autobiographical performance devised by/for/with 4 queer women at their age of early 30s living in Shanghai. Through 40 hours of creative writing and 100 hours of rehearsal room games, these women walk, run, jump, sing, talk and hug, both physically and emotionally, with each other. All their laugh, cry and stories mingled together become a 60 minutes 1 woman monologue with 2 musicians live music storytelling theatre.

90 Breaths

A devised show provoking the fundamental problem of communication in the information age and complex relationships with our parents. 

Through a game, two twenty-something daughters provoke each other to reveal truths about their relationships with their respective mothers through the recreation of actual dialogue between them and their mothers. 

What will happen when we confront our mothers with questions we’ve been dying to have answered live on stage?
